There’s no denying that we’re in a health care crisis here in America, but how can we argue with this type of logic and example? If the Canadian health care system is such a wonderful model, why do their citizens routinely come to the US for treatment?
A single payer system would leave those in the most urgent need of treatment lined up behind averyone else, wouldn’t it? How can we prevent this from happening?
Americans wanting a system like Canada? it will be like wait for your chance: a test can take up to 3 months, lets suppose you need a colonoscpoy because you have a colon disease, that means waiting and waiting with pain and fear, not mentioning the mental state, the nights without sleeping these effects can be devasting for somebody that is really sick.
You know why? because most of them can afford health insurance, they can afford to take a plane, pay for hotels and purchase their daily meals. If indeed they need a health plan, for sure they would have to wait, like everybody else does. You think people wait because they are not to smart, forget it when you don’t have the choice, gess what you have lots of patience.
